About
Xiaqiangege (Xia) Liu is a Chinese collaborative pianist and ballet accompanist with degrees from the Royal Northern College of Music and Wuhan Conservatory of Music, both awarded with distinction and first class.
She has performed in international festivals including IPAI Bavaria and Pienza Summer Festival, earning full Young Artist scholarships, and appeared at venues like the Bridgewater Hall. Xia has collaborated across diverse genres, including classical Chinese art songs and dance, and served as pianist for institutions such as Royal Ballet School, Merchant Taylor's School, Junior RNCM, University of Manchester and University of Huddersfield.
In 2025, Xia founded Andantia Duo with pianist Andy Deng. Together they have premiered rarely performed works for piano four hands.
